A little about the artist
With two decades of professional experience across Los Angeles and the national stage, Mark Bissell brings a wealth of expertise to the world of dance. A certified FCBD® instructor and multi-disciplined fusion belly dancer, Mark currently directs the folk fusion troop; Seraphim Arabesque Ensemble, and teaches at multiple locations around Southern California. His lifelong dedication to Middle Eastern and North African (MENAHT) dance and music was sparked during his early years at The Original Renaissance Pleasure Faire. For Mark, performing, teaching, and learning are not just professional pursuits—they are his driving forces and an essential, daily practice.
